About this project

The problem. Most small businesses in Bukidnon and across Mindanao run their online presence from a Facebook page. When they do get a website, it is often a heavy page-builder theme that loads slowly on mobile data, and the phone number is typed into a dozen places that all go stale the day the number changes.

The fix. Sinag is a block theme built on theme.json with ready-made sections for cafés, stores, clinics and cooperatives. A small Business Details screen stores the phone, hours, address and chat link once, and the WordPress Block Bindings API prints them into the header, footer, hero buttons and contact card.

Install in 3 steps

  1. Download sinag-theme.zip from the GitHub release.
  2. wp-admin → Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme → Activate.
  3. Appearance → Business Details, then pick a style in Appearance → Editor → Styles.

Client pitch

Offer it as a "launch in a day" package: install Sinag, fill in the details, swap in the client's menu and photos. Charge for setup and a monthly care plan; the theme stays free and updatable.

Kapehan sa Burol is a fictional sample business. The preview recreates the theme's real patterns in HTML and CSS; on a WordPress site they are rendered by PHP from the theme files.
